Manufacturing QUALITY CONTROL LAYOUT INSPECTOR Experienced QC Inspector to perform testing & support data analysis. Document & communicate results in timely fashion, working closely with Production and Manufactur-ing personnel. Assist in the development of improved SOPs for existing product & implement testing procedures for new products. Perform testing to qualify material manufactured by production. Organize and analyze high volumes of testing data; record and report on data. Ensure all gauges & test equipment are verified. Participate in investigations of complaints & corrective actions. Assist with determination of root causes of non-conformance; recommend corrective action. Trouble-shoot and perform minor maintenance, calibration and repair of instrumentation. Interpret basic and advanced technical procedures to recognize testing irregularities. Acts as a technical resource to production, addressing issues related to quality. Geometric dimensioning and tolerance interpretation a must. Min. 2 years QC experience in a manufacturing environment. ISO9001 experience required. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Some CMM experience preferred. Salary DOE.
