Connecticut Casualty Company is expanding and we have an opening for a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our award winning team.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a member of the Commercial Lines Team, you will work with multiple carriers and customers to create an outstanding service experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Certificates:
- Update / Renew Certificate Shells in System.
- Forward certificates to holders / insureds

Late Pay Follow-ups:
- Per written procedures.

Company Recommendations:
Document System, scan / attach follow up


- If carrier does NOT notify insured directly:
Document system, scan / attach copy of recs.
Notify client of recs and follow up for receipt compliance.

Excess Lines Policies:
- Obtain renewal quote from brokers
- Follow up with insured,
- Update Epic with renewal information and invoice

Endorsements:
- Verify accuracy of information,
- Process with Carrier
 

Policies:
- Review policies for accuracy.
- Forward policies to insured / update system
 

Skills and Specifications

 

To excel in this position, you must be self-motivated and competitive with a drive to earn.  You must also have solid organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, as well as a strong work ethic. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to quickly establish a rapport with ustomers.

 

            2 years of experience as Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C)

            Demonstrate an ability to develop trust and credibility easily and quickly

            Must possess prior insurance industry experience and a proven service ability to maintain and develop strategic business relationships with current and new clientele.

            Possess exceptional communication skills

            Experience with Applied EPIC or TAM a plus
