The Eastern Highlands Health District is looking for a full-time Sanitarian to enforce state and local public health codes. Sample duties include permit application review, inspections, and investigations. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, public health, or a related field supplemented by at least three years of relevant experience is required. Candidates are required to be a Connecticut Registered Sanitarian and hold certifications in food service inspection and phase I and phase II subsurface sewage disposal. Annual salary range $58,502 to $67,830 with a competitive benefit package.
