Field Service Technician
Integrated Technical Systems Inc. is seeking Field Service Technicians to join our team as we continue to grow in the North East Region. We want the very best individuals capable of installing, diagnosing and servicing a wide range of equipment associated with Fire and Security Systems. We recognize people as our most valuable asset. Primary Focus:
Install, configure, and maintain systems offered by ITS, including On and off street parking equipment, card access, cctv, etc.
Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on mechanical or electrical parking systems under contract /agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order
Analyze, trouble-shoots, repair and restores equipment/systems to full operation and recommends revisions/replacements when necessary to improve system.
Testing and commissioning of systems prior to acceptance by customers
Instruct and/or trains customers or customer representatives on systems maintenance and operating procedures.
Promote, build and maintains good customer relations and assists in contract retention; informs supervisor or customer of needs, requirements, systems status, and actual or potential customer problems.Technician must be reliable, organized and professional with solid customer service skills *Ability to work from schematic diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions *Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in various challenging situations * Good communication skills with customers, supervisors and employees * Knowledge of computers, applications and operating systems * Understanding of network topology, function and wiring
* Strong technical/electronics aptitude
* Understands the interrelationships of circuits, electronic components and their functions *Ability to travel, work independently and be flexible regarding frequent changes in schedule
