Dymax Corporation, a leader in the Acrylic Adhesive and UV Curing Industry, is seeking a highly motivated, team orientated individual for the internship opportunity of Manufacturing Engineer Summer Student.

POSITION SUMMARY:   Responsible for assisting ME’s in the development and implementation of product into the manufacturing operation. Its major emphasis is the technical support of tooling, work instructions, process/method definition, and floor support.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cell layout and standard work development.
2. Develop actions to reduce scrap and process cost.
3. Process and method improvement.
4. New process planning and development.
5. Actively participate, promote and comply with all EH&S programs and policies.
6. Technical Support to shop floor and other business areas.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION           

Working towards a College degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
