Chauffeurs, executive sedan service in CT/NY

$500 Sign On Bonus*

Wear a suit and drive a luxury car; no boss over your shoulder and your favorite tunes on the radio. Life can be rewarding as a chauffeur at Teddy's Transportation System.

You may be eligible for the opportunity to earn well over $40,000 (over $60k is very possible)... plus health insurance, 401(k) and other benefits. If you have a winning smile, are service/ hospitality-minded, have a clean driving record and are a confident communicator; and can prove at least a year of experience as a professional driver in the New York Tri-State area (any applicable industry), then please read more.

The job certainly has its finer moments. But it also demands professionalism, experience and dedication. You would be delivering high-caliber chauffeured services to very busy, very demanding executives under tough New York traffic conditions.

A significant level of emotional maturity is needed for a career at Teddy's Transportation System. Chauffeurs who do not make the cut at Teddy's easily find jobs around the corner at our competitors. On the other hand, chauffeurs coming from elsewhere find an enhanced level of respect and the resources to finally allow you to 'do it right.'

Full-time chauffeurs should expect to be on call and usually driving from about 1PM until often well after midnight, six days a week, including both weekend days.

IMPORTANTLY, this means that, maybe for the first time, you know you have your mornings to yourself. Plan more of your day for personal and family goals, be safer and happier -- all with trip counts that make for record-breaking paychecks!

Alternatively, part-time chauffeurs are just as welcome. Part-timers can practically choose their own hours and make as much or as little money as they want. We need the most help Tuesday through Friday nights -- take one, two, all four or more of those nights.

Or maybe a couple of mornings suits you -- we need extra help on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. A winning candidate can grab a trip each of those days; sometimes two trips (between 4:00-7:30 AM) -- for about $50 each in commissions and gratuity.

We can help get you started by pointing you in the right direction, but fully qualified chauffeurs will already have:
- 'Public Service Endorsement' on their driver's license
- Chauffeuring experience with Manhattan and its airports
- Valid medical card (if licensed within the state of CT)

If you want to get started on the licensing, just tell DMV you want the forms to drive limousines. They will give you an application, a card for fingerprints and a form for your doctor. The lead time to get the endorsement back is usually 4-6 weeks.

If you'd like a taste of what our application process is like- try the four short geography test questions at http://teddyslimo.com/about-us/careers.htm.

* $300 paid about 30 days after your full-time start if still employed; with balance paid at about 60 days' with the company.
