Construction Project Manager
The Waterbury Development Corporation (WDC) is seeking a knowledgeable individual to administer the City of Waterbury s EEO/ Good Jobs Ordinance. The Project Manager will be required to collect, evaluate and consolidate all payroll documentation and perform a good jobs quality check at various construction sites to ensure all contractors and subcontractors are in compliance with Hiring Requirements, and prepare and submit monthly reports to various City boards. In addition, successful candidate shall manage, oversee and direct construction projects. The Project Manager will be required to maintain constant involvement with assigned projects, including but not limited to, onsite/ direct interaction with appropriate contractors and construction managers. One must have the ability to review plans and specifications, oversee project bid process, ensure project deadlines are met, and monitor and analyze project cost for accuracy.
The candidate should possess a Bachelor s Degree with weighting given to an Urban Studies or Construction Management degree and must possess a high level of computer literacy. Salary range $32,000 - $42,000.
