Geer Village Senior Community is a place where one can age in a supportive environment, thriving at ALL stages of life. We do this by providing our residents with expert, compassionate care, surrounded by nature, integrated with the community.
Geer Village Senior Community is located on 70 acres of natural beauty, in the heart of the Litchfield Hills in Northwest Connecticut. On campus we have both assisted and independent living, along with day services, transportation, rehabilitative services and a pharmacy.
Our staff of healing professionals' primary goal is to console, treat, heal, strengthen, and refresh the bodies, hearts, minds, and spirits of those whom we serve. Our staff brings a true sense of family into work. Many employees have worked at Geer for decades, reflecting their dedication as well as to Geer's efforts to retain good people.
Our staff is our family, and we bring this sense of family into our work. Many of us have worked at Geer for decades. We'll work with your personal physician, dentist, or other health care professional.
Included on the Campus are a variety of living facilities: Geer Village, which provides three different living options; Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; Geer Adult Day Center; and Beckley House, subsidized low income senior housing. At Geer, we consider hiring to be the most important thing we do.
We work hard to find that special person who will be as dedicated to our residents as we are, as compassionate, as caring, and as hard a worker as the rest of us.
We are proud of the fact that almost half of our employees have been employed at Geer for over 10 years, and about 15% of us have been here for more than 20 years.
